Jung's grandson, Dieter Baumann noted that:
" On one instant, it was at dinner, he (Jung) was very concerned about the situation of the world. He said that biologically the human race had reached an end point, and that no further physical development was possible but only spiritual development, otherwise the human race was doomed".
The purpose of Jung's work, and the C G Jung Society, is to promote the spiritual aspect of man, thus prevent such doom.
